The tape is flexible and is resistant to water, oil, and solvents; and provides excellent adhesion and release from a variety of substrates. Shurtape CP-631 has multiple uses for home, school, and industry. This colored masking tape has a crepe paper backing and is coated with a thermoplastic synthetic rubber adhesive. NOTE: Shurtape phased out their CP-632 masking tape product and replaced it with their CP-631 product. The specifications for both tapes are very close and CP-631's specification numbers are now displayed for this product. Made in the U.S. Tape rolls are typically cut to standard tape industry metric-cut sizes - or approx 5% narrower than the nominal size (i.e. 24mm per 1-inch of nominal width ordered). Adhesive: synthetic rubber. Carrier/Backing: crepe paper. Thickness: 4.9 mils (carrier, adhesive).
