Custom hand wound internal steel strings — equipped with two sets of 8 custom hand wound micro-coiled steel cajon strings for a beautifully lush responsive snare through all dynamics — adjust the tension with the tuning screws on the bottom of the cajon
Contoured playing area — the exquisite canyon burl playing surface is rounded at the corners and sanded down to form thumb notches where your hands lay in their natural position — this gives you exceptional contact with more comfort
Refined sound for any setting — the sound port has been fashioned with an extra thick wood ring for compression, as well as a pop filter to improve clarity when playing with a microphone located by the port where air rushes out — great for recording
