External Capacity is 5/32 to 11/16-Inch | 4-19 mm Internal Capacity is 5/16 to 13/16-Inch | 8-20 mm. One hand tool restores inch or metric, fine or coarse, right-handed or left-handed fastener threads. No need for calibration or identifying thread sizes or types. Floating cutters are self-adjusting to any pitch and size within range. Automatically chases good thread sections to repair the damaged parts. A major advantage over taps and dies is the ability to enter below the first damaged grooves and work it outward direction. Blades are made of high-quality hardened tool steel (58/62 RC) and guided by the existing undamaged section of the thread in order to regroove the damaged section.
