This exotic Anubis Canopic Jar measures approximately 10.25'Tall and 5.5' wide. It weighs about 4.5 pounds. This exotic Anubis Canopic Jar is made of composite resin, hand painted and polished individually. The sculpture boasts of the anubis head in gold and royal blue with a faux pottery body with unique Egyptian hieroglyphs on the front with gold background. Ancient Egyptians used canopic jars to store internal organs during the mummification process, but you can put other things in them too that is less 'dark'. It makes perfect container for candies, treats, as an urn for small pets and other knick knacks you can think of. Anubis was the god of embalming and the dead.
